Kling understands that existing production processes have to be improved and further developed on an ongoing basis, and that such processes need to be constantly adapted in order to provide its customers with the best possible results – and fast. That’s why Kling has invested in a new edge-gluing machine.
 
The new machine can process both MDF and solid wood of various thicknesses with a high level of precision. However, most relevant is MDF processing. The edges of the panels are roughened inside the machine, coated with a melting glue and then bonded to a plastic strip made of melamine resin. The protruding edges of the plastic strip are neatly cut off and the fully bonded panels can be handed over for painting.
 
By investing in the new edge-gluing machine, some work steps which previously had to be laboriously performed by hand no longer have to be done. The resulting savings in terms of both time and money will of course be of benefit to the customer too, as they will be reflected when it comes to pricing.
