A good demonstration tool does more than simply show a product – it brings the features of the product on display to life. Kling manufactures bespoke demonstration tools with a wide variety of technical functions: from specialised lighting systems using UV or coloured light, through to visual and haptic product testers, sound testers, touchscreens, smartpads, rotating and sliding mechanisms, magnetic product holders and much more.
At Kling, we produce functional demonstration systems in series production, precisely tailored to the intended application – from the technical implementation of specified designs to the joint development of new functions.

From rotary mechanisms to touchscreens: manufacturing details for bespoke functions
Functional demo tools are the result of the interplay of many technical details. Kling combines different materials, mechanical components, lighting and electronics to create bespoke solutions – tailored to the specific application and designed for subsequent series production.
Our services for your project
From the initial idea through to a ready-to-assemble solution, Kling develops bespoke demonstration tools – tailored to size, material, function and quantity.
On request, we can produce samples or prototypes before manufacturing individual items, small batches or larger quantities.
Manufacturing partner or development partner – Kling supports your project
You decide to what extent Kling supports you with your new project. Whether your design is already complete or you are still seeking support with the technical implementation: Kling can take over your project exactly where you need us. We reliably implement existing production specifications into series production or support you from the initial idea right through to a production-ready solution – with short decision-making processes and direct collaboration in Germany.

Manufacturing partner for fully developed demo tools
Your design. Our series production.
Have you already developed, tested and defined the design of the operating principle? Kling takes care of the industrial implementation as an OEM manufacturing partner, producing your demonstration tool in series in accordance with your specifications and corporate design. We are also your reliable partner when it comes to the assembly of various product components.

Development partner for new functions
No solution yet? Kling helps with the development.
Particularly with new products or innovative demonstration features, the technical concept is not always fully defined. This is where Kling can contribute its experience in design, complex manufacturing details and product presentation right from the development stage.
Compliance and safety regulations – manufacturing functional demonstration tools safely
Functional demonstration tools require more than just good design
As soon as a demo tool goes beyond mere product presentation and integrates, for example, electrical components, lighting, UV light, moving mechanical parts or electronic control functions, the demands on its technical execution also increase. During manufacture, therefore, specifications relating to materials, electronics, product safety and compliance must be taken into account, amongst other things.
Demotools from practice – Customer projects already successfully completed
Kling has already developed customised demo tools and functional demonstration solutions for companies across a range of sectors. From visual applications and product testers through to interactive and technically sophisticated systems, we translate the relevant requirements into fully functional, production-ready solutions. Our diverse portfolio of projects demonstrates our expertise in combining complex functions, materials and technical components to create a well-designed demo tool.
FAQ – Frequently asked questions about Kling’s functional demo tools
Kling is able to implement a wide variety of mechanical, optical and electronic functions. These include, for example, rotating, sliding and folding mechanisms, customised product holders, magnetic functions, LED, colour and UV lighting, touchscreens, smartpads, displays, push-buttons, sensors and other customer-specific functions.
Kling is the right manufacturing partner for this type of technical display. We are pleased to hear from you on tel. +49 (0) 7231 4888-0 or via our contact form.
Yes. Kling manufactures functional demonstration tools designed to specifically demonstrate product features or enable comparisons. These include, for example, optical test housings for spectacle lenses, sound testers, haptic test surfaces for cosmetics, and size and comparison testers for jewellery and other products.
Depending on the application, various lighting concepts can be integrated. Options include LED, coloured and UV lighting, directional light sources and various separately controllable lighting zones. The design is tailored to the desired demonstration function.
Yes. In addition to mechanical functions, electronic components can also be integrated into the demo tool. These include, for example, touchscreens, smartpads, displays, pushbuttons, switches and sensors. The technical integration is tailored to the design, operation and subsequent series production.
Kling combines different materials and components depending on the requirements. These include, for example, plastics, acrylic glass, wood and metal. Customised material combinations and customised case and design elements are also possible.
When selecting and processing materials and components, Kling takes into account the requirements relevant to the respective manufacturing process, such as those set out in REACH and RoHS. Design-related protection requirements and the safe integration of technical components are also taken into account during implementation. Unless expressly agreed otherwise, responsibility for the overall functionality and any necessary conformity assessment of the finished demo tool remains with the respective customer or operator.
Enquiries can be submitted directly via our contact form.
Yes. If a fully developed design is not yet available, Kling can support the development of a customised solution. Requirements and functions are defined jointly and progressively translated into a technically viable solution suitable for series production – from the initial idea and design, through prototyping and coordination, right through to production.
Kling can produce customised functional demonstration tools from a minimum order of 100 units. This offer is therefore aimed in particular at industrial customers and brand manufacturers who wish to use a functional demonstration system in series production. For more complex projects, an appropriate lead time should also be allowed for development, coordination and series production.
